How does Null Motion work?
Drop in a raw take, a podcast, or a long video and describe the edit in plain words. Null plans the work and shows every step: it cuts pauses and bad takes, burns in word-accurate captions, and adds punch-in zooms and motion graphics. You review the result on a timeline in the browser, change anything by hand, and export for TikTok, Shorts, Reels, or YouTube.
What videos can I use?
Talking heads, tutorials, product demos, podcasts, and long videos you want turned into shorts. Upload a file, or add a Twitch VOD, a YouTube video, or a Kick VOD by link. Footage can be any length, up to 4K. MP4, MOV, and WebM all work.
Can Null turn a long video into shorts?
Yes. Point it at a stream VOD, a YouTube video, or a podcast episode. Null finds moments that stand on their own, cuts the dead air, reframes them as vertical clips, and captions them. You review those clips on the timeline, then export them for Shorts, TikTok, and Reels.
When am I charged?
When you choose a plan. Checkout runs on Stripe, and you can pause or cancel anytime. Yearly billing is 30% off: Starter is $10 a month, billed at $118 a year, or $14 month to month. Creator is $21 a month, billed at $249, or $29 month to month. Studio is $69 a month, billed at $832, or $99 month to month. The monthly credit allowance is the same either way. A real card is charged when you pay.
What is a credit?
Exports cost 15 credits per minute at 1080p, rounded up to the next minute. A 40-second short is 15 credits. A 3-minute video is 45. 4K costs 30 credits a minute, so that short is 30 credits and the 3-minute video is 90. Cuts, captions, motion graphics, and timeline previews do not spend credits. You spend them when Null exports the file. Starter exports are 1080p only. Creator and Studio can export 4K.
What does each plan include?
Starter is 1,500 credits a month, 1080p exports at 15 credits a minute, AI cut and captions, 3 caption styles, plus MCP and CLI. It does not include the motion graphics library, brand kits, or priority rendering. Creator is 4,500 credits, 4K at 30 credits a minute, every caption style, the motion graphics library, unlimited brand kits, priority rendering, and credit rollover up to 9,000. Studio is 12,000 credits shared by the team, 4K, everything in Creator, 3 team seats, a brand kit per client, shared review links, priority support, and credit rollover up to 24,000. Extra credits are $5 for 500, $10 for 1,000, $20 for 2,000, $50 for 5,000, or $100 for 10,000. Bought credits do not expire.
Do unused credits roll over?
Creator can hold up to 9,000 credits, and Studio up to 24,000. That is two months of the monthly allowance. Starter starts again at 1,500 credits each month. Credits you buy on top of a plan do not expire.
Which AI can I connect?
Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Cursor, Codex, or any agent that speaks MCP or can run the Null CLI. Your assistant can drive the edit. You still approve it. Credentials stay with your provider, and Null does not switch models on you. MCP and CLI access come with every plan.
Can I edit by hand?
Yes. Null hands back a real timeline, not a locked render. Trim a clip, swap a caption, move a keyframe, or nudge the timing without asking again. Every cut, caption, and motion layer stays on the timeline for you to change.
Does Null post the video for me?
No. Null exports a file ready for TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Threads, X, Facebook, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Kick, and Twitch. You publish it on those accounts yourself.
When do I get access?
Pick a plan and check out. The subscription starts then. Null Motion is in early access, so the studio opens in waves and we email you once when your seat is ready.
Can I cancel my plan?
Yes. You can pause or cancel anytime, and you can move up for a launch or down for a quiet month. After you subscribe, the plan stays active until the end of that billing period.
