Privacy policy

Who we are

Null Motion runs nullmotion.com and sells Null Studio plans. This policy covers the website, the Null Studio editor, reviews, email updates, and Stripe checkout. Questions go to [email protected].

What we collect

• Email. If you subscribe for updates or start checkout with an email, we store that address and a short source label (such as which button you used).
• Payment details. Stripe collects your card and billing details. Null Motion does not store your full card number. Stripe sends us the checkout result: customer, plan, amount, and the email on the payment.
• Abuse limits. Cloudflare gives us the connecting IP address. We store a short hash of it for one hour so the same network cannot submit the list or checkout over and over. We do not keep the raw IP in our database.
• Theme preference. The site can store a theme choice in localStorage on your device. It is not sent to us.
• Site analytics. Google Analytics measures page visits and on-site activity. It receives browser and device details, approximate location, and first-party cookie identifiers. Google says it does not log or store the IP address it receives during collection.
• Google sign-in. If you sign in, Google provides your account ID, verified email address, and display name. We use them to identify you on the dashboard. An encrypted session cookie holds those details for up to seven days; we do not store your Google password or Google access token.
• Studio data. We store your subscription, team seat emails, and saved brand kit settings. To generate captions, the editor sends audio excerpts to Cloudflare Workers AI for transcription.
• Shared reviews. If a Studio user creates a review, the exported MP4 is uploaded to private Cloudflare R2 storage. We store the review title, link, and any reviewer names and comments. Anyone with the private link can view and comment while the Studio plan is active.

The dashboard uses your Google account to sign you in. Null Motion has no separate password. Studio edits video in your browser. Source footage stays on your device unless you choose to upload an exported MP4 for a shared review; caption generation sends audio excerpts to the speech service.

Why we use it

• Send the updates you subscribed to.
• Start, renew, or cancel the plan you chose, and keep the billing record.
• Grant plan and team access, save brand kits, and provide shared reviews.
• Block repeated signup and checkout attempts.
• Understand which pages visitors use and improve the site.
• Keep you signed in to your dashboard and show your account identity.
• Meet tax, accounting, and payment obligations.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use it for ads.

Who we share it with

• Stripe processes the payment. Their privacy policy is at stripe.com/privacy.
• Cloudflare hosts the site, stores account and review records, processes caption audio with Workers AI, and stores uploaded review videos in R2.
• Google Analytics measures site use. See Google's privacy policy.
• Google sign-in verifies your identity. See Google's privacy policy.

We share information if the law requires it, or to protect the site from abuse.

How long we keep it

List emails stay until you ask us to delete them. Billing records stay for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Rate-limit hashes roll forward only while requests keep arriving inside the hour. Your dashboard session expires after seven days; signing out clears its cookie. Review links expire after 30 days; plan owners can delete reviews sooner. We do not keep a separate Google profile database.

Your choices

Email [email protected] to get a copy of the email and plan records we hold, to correct them, or to delete the list entry. Billing records that the law tells us to keep stay in the payment history. You can unsubscribe from product mail in that same email. You can block or delete analytics cookies in your browser.

Children

Null Motion is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. The current version is always at nullmotion.com/privacy.
